Life was seemingly falling into place and progressing nicely but fate had different plans, that would turn life upside down after a few encounters with a Decepticon hiding in plain sight. Neither saw it coming or what it would led to but what it promised was an adventure of a lifetime.

The Girl
Cora was a force to be reckoned with when it came to machinery. She could fix any problem thrown her way and her keen eye for detail made her invaluable to the team. Her quick wit and sharp tongue kept those around her on their toes. She was fearless in the face of danger and bravely put herself in harm's way to protect those she cared for. Cora was the heart of NEST and the team wouldn't have been the same without her. Cora had never seen anyone with eyes the same color as Optimus's. His nod seemed to be a sign of understanding, and she couldn't help but smile in response. She was so focused on her work that she didn't even notice the explosion until it was too late. But to her surprise, Optimus was there, protecting her from the chaos. She felt a sudden connection with him, and a newfound admiration for his courage and selflessness. It was then that she realized she was in love with Optimus. Cora was drawn to him but was scared of the unknown. She had strong feelings for him but was unsure of how he felt about her.
