"Oh...." she blinked. Suddenly she couldn't look at him any longer and took a sudden interest in the floor. "I'm really sorry Adrien, but I love Luka.  I kind of gave up on you... on us a long time ago.

"I'm sorry it took me so long to realize it! But I'm here now, saying I love you. Don't tell me you don't feel the same way. There has to be some part of you that still loves me." 

Marinette chewed her lip nervously. "Sure, I used to like you. But that was a long time ago.  You have to understand that I've moved on," she said softly as she turned around to leave. 

Adrien grabbed her arm, "Wait! If I had realized my feelings for you earlier... if I had realized I loved you then....  would you have chosen me over him?"

Marinette couldn't bear to face Adrien as she shook her head, "I don't know, Adrien." And with that, she walked away to rejoin with Luka, leaving Adrien standing in the rain.

In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon).
