While Spock was at StarFleet academy he met this woman named Bree Woods. She stole his Vulcan heart. Years later they're married.
Spock is now the science officer and first officer for the USS Enterprise right under Captain James "Jim" T Kirk.
And Bree is now a nursing instructor at the academy. Soon Bree gets transferred from her teaching job to working on the Enterprise next to her husband.
