From the Void

First the year of the double header came and with it the certain feeling that it would bring doubles of all kinds, some of them good, which was positive; however, it was the sudden snowballing of negative doubles that began to worry everyone. What was going on? As driven from a massively powerful source, the changes came and people were faced with one problem after another and little could be done about it.
What drove this force? Where did it come? What was it?
One thing was clear tht it had an almost magical power to take on shape in forms we could relate to, while at the same time, dissipating suddenly into nothingness. And that was what really worred the central leaders of the world.
It was opaque, mysterious, unidentifiable, dark...and most of all much more powerful then the world powers that sought to stop it.
