Two years before the Ishvalan War started, Roy and riza had a secret relationship between each other. And eventually an accident happened, Riza got pregnant with Roy's child. Roy mustang knows about her being pregnant with his child but, they're both worried about the war.
So they both made a choice that changed their lives. That choice was a mistake. But this isn't the first thing you'll be seeing.

PS: I do not own FMA characters and the cover, I just found it in Google and edited it. And there are two characters that are originally mine.
