The chance of her life comes as a gift when she realized that there was going to be a casting for a new TV Talent Show called "The Number One". The problem is that she is blind, but she developed the ability to play the guitar. The true talent lies in the ones who love what they do. The talent that lies hidden in El Salvador would be found in a single night that could change the way the nation thought what talent is. Girls drool over them, and boys want to be them. Ever since they started at Allenwood Academy, and she met them, they've hate her, and she hates them too. Allenwood Academy announces that they will be having their 50th annul Masquerade Ball. Selena hasn't gone ever since she started at Allenwood Academy, but her 2 best friends convince her to go this year. Selena gives in, and goes. What she doesn't know, is that she dances with one of her enemeys: 15 year old Nathan Sykes. She leaves after she dances with him, because she wasn't aloud to go, under her step-mothers orders. When she goes to leave, her mask falls off when she turns around. Nathan picks it up, and runs after her, but it's too late, because she's gone. The next day, Nathan tries to find the girl he danced with the previous night, by asking all the girls at Allenwood if it was their mask. Little did he know, that his last choice was Selena. Will Nathan stop bullying her, or will he bully her more? Will her step-mother find out that she left the house? Will Selena get pulled out of Allenwood? What will her step-mother do to her? Will Selena get kicked out of the house? Follow Selena on this crazy mixed up adventure. Pretend that your Selena, and see if you would be able to survive her life.

When at last everyone leaves him alone, oh how amazing and wonderful his voice echoes out all along the walls of anywhere he can be alone. His amazing talent, however, one day lures in an audience.
