"Concealed within shadows trying to find herself"

Rachel Smith has removed all possible things that could link her to her past. She is a completely different person than she was four years back. Her wardrobe has changed, her hair has grown longer, even her gender has changed.
She has finally become a girl physically as well, she was always one emotionally.
She has become much more self-reliant and confident than she used to be.
Not the one to be pushed around anymore, what will happen when her past itself comes and stands in front of her in the form of Foster Wilson?
Will she hate him for having a part in ruining her childhood?
And even if she wants to hate him, will she be able to?

Shall we do an experiment? Hear me out: an enemies-to-lovers where love is complicated but never toxic. Where the female lead knows what she wants and takes it. Where the male lead doesn't growl, rage or slam her into walls. A journey with all the angst, secrets, spice and heartbreak of dark romance without the abuse. Are you ready? ******************************************** It's 1984, Queen on the radio and rage in the streets. Moira Bourne, stretched thin between her nanny job, family drama and university classes, fights for the recognition she deserves. Evander Ward, fresh from a gap year in Europe and eager to prove himself, is ready for redemption. Two people whose paths were never meant to cross. When they do, the collision blows their life to smithereens. ******************************************** "Pass the tea, will you?". It came over me - it being it all, the shame, the anger, the sense of injustice and the nine hours I hadn't slept the night before. Those, maybe, more than anything else, because I reached for said tea and, possessed by that mighty cocktail of resentment, spat in it. I did so making sure he could see it, he could hear it. Then I passed it over to him and waited. His smile, at this point, had turned overjoyed, putting the previous ones to shame, revealing their graft. He had received the answer he was hoping for. He took the cup and chugged it down. Looked me straight in the eye and drunk it all. ******************************************** Fair warning: mentions of racism, ED, assault, sexism, and classism ahead. You know where your limits lie. If you find yourself growing uncomfortable with the content, stop reading. From birth, Trinity saw the world differently than her peers. Not that she knew much of her peers in her childhood as she was home-schooled. However, that's all in the past. She has her own business, works hard and all-in-all, she's happy. For the most part, that is. As long as she still has her seclusion for which she has worked hard and values above all else, then she will be fine. If people would just stay away... Leah has been blind her entire life but never let it hold her back as she embraced it with open arms. She hasn't ever known any differently and life is great. Or at least, it could be with these new changes. Moving to a new town, Leah is excited to begin a new life, but her family isn't exactly shy about their protectiveness of her. If only she could be somewhere, anywhere where people would treat her just as they would anyone else. As their paths cross, Leah and Trinity's lives are forever changed, some changes for the better and others still up for debate. People can sometimes surprise us in the most exhilarating of ways, however, and they are just about to find out exactly why. Pax is a fifteen year old (rising junior) with no sense of self love and also with a shitty family. He grew up in a world where he hadn't heard a lot of things even existed, like anything in the LGBT spectrum, and he'd grown up in churches that exiled the word "gay". In sixth grade, everything finally clicked. He was transgender. Just because he realized it, though, didn't mean his entire life would become perfect. From the time he was twelve on, he was sick and confused and altogether terrified of what he's become. After he came out to all of friends, most of them ditched him until his only friends were the school's gay power couple and a nonbinary internet friend he'd never even talked to in real life, and only them to help him and figure out everything that needs figuring out. In this coming-out story, I delve basically into what was my young teenage years - so I included quite a lot of things I went through. Some triggers this might include are: -transphobia -homophobia -vague references to self harm -suicidal thoughts & actions -SPOILER: Pax is kicked out at some point; I'd suggest that you don't read it if you're not comfortable with that because that's the climax. 600 reads?? 100 votes???
