The war was started by this evil band of space pirates called The Scull. Ember has to fight her way to victory. or she and everyone she loves dies. Ember is the commander of her squadron.

However, Feles also awakens a 'prey drive' in Draco, meaning it has him actively "hunting" for his soulmate.
