It could have been anyone, anyone at all. But it had to be them. Sometimes they wondered if they would rather have been the ones who disappeared. Because after the snap, everyone changed. 

An emotionally distant Peter Quill, a somewhat supportive Drax, a nervous Mantis, a dying Peter Parker and a powerless Stephen Strange are all stranded in space. They don't know how to get away from the middle of nowhere, let alone how to get back to Earth. 

So when what's left of S.H.I.E.L.D manages to track down their co-ordinates and send an aircraft out to get them, they're grateful. But soon after stepping onto land, they realise they aren't the only ones feeling the way that they are. Every single member of the Original Six is gone, and it's only now that everyone realises they can't handle themselves without the Avengers. 

It's up to everyone who's left to figure out what to do about this looming Thanos problem. 

With the help of a Quill who wants revenge, the return of a long-forgotten enemy and the deep rabbit hole that is time travel, they more or less have everything they need to give this "being a hero" business a go. But are they willing to step up? And if they are, do they really have what it takes? Is the world ready to meet a team of heroes that seems a lot more like one of misfits?All Rights Reserved

Years later, (Y/N) was walking into her home and found Nick Fury in her apartment. He told her was happened after she was away from S.H.I.E.L.D. and asks her to join the Avengers program. She agrees and now helps her team members with protecting New York and the world from threats. But what will happen when it comes to the endgame? Will she allow a team member take their life to save millions? Or will she use the stones herself to protect millions? It's been almost two years since the defeat of Thanos & the effects of the snap was successfully reversed. The world has slowly picked up the pieces & everyone worked hard to resume their lives right off where the Decimation left them hanging. Some succeeded, as easily as pressing the play button after putting a movie on a long pause, while some were never the same again despite regaining everything and everyone they have lost. The Avengers were the lucky ones. Lucky enough to go back to their normal or fortunate enough to be given a fresh start. Tony & Pepper got married & jetted off in a private island to finally start their long overdue family life. Sam moved back to D.C & resumed his work at the VA. Rhodey continued working as a military consultant & Wakanda has never been more occupied as it became the number one tourist spot in less then a year. Clint went back to retirement tugging Wanda along with him to his farm where Laura welcomed her with open arms. Thor & Bruce were off-planet helping the remaining Asgardians settle on a new home. Fury rebuilt his super spy network with Maria overseeing operations at the Avengers Facility, recruiting, training a new breed of response team. And Steve finally got Bucky back & they have spent the past year back in Brooklyn, traveling the world once in a while & even participating in USO tours and fairs. Everyone tried to move on and rightly so because at the end of the day, that's pretty much what's expected of everyone after any tragedy. Natasha, too has moved on. The only problem is, she chose to move on alone. * I don't own any of these characters or wish to infringe on any copy or intellectual rights. When new intel comes through about a Hydra weapon, the avengers split into two teams, one checking out a new base, while the other scours an old one. It's no coincidence that the intel comes through, and they find files about experiments done to one person. 'winter 2.0' the team calls her, but to Bucky, the fear sinks in as memories resurface about one soldier in particular, Ace. Stronger, deadlier and she made the winter soldier in him afraid. The work together to find out all they can, not realising that they are being watched by the very soldier herself. After an attack on the compound, which leaves quite a few of the team shaken, one avengr in particular is intrigued by the univited guest now residing in the holding cells. Who is the masked assailant, and why is it, she listened to him? **** The soldier begins to remember her past, fighting against all the Hydra conditioning, to remember who she was. Why does one of the men stand out? Who is he, and why does she have an overwhelming need to protect him? She knows Hydra will stop at nothing to get their soldiers back, but will she submit to Hydra or fight for right to live free? After a public disagreement, that resulted in her suspension, when she hit him, he had found out that she was none other than Tony Starks sister. He attempts to make amends, by inviting her to the party in his honour, in hopes of showing the board that she was an asset to the hospital, when his life takes a turn for the worst, and an accident occurs. Both their worlds collide, seeking help from each other, but can they put their differences aside, or will it tear them apart?
