Adalyn Lockwood was never the average girl. She was an orphan, forced into the hands of an aunt who didn't want her in the aftermath of a tragic accident. By age 16 she was lonely and depressed and by the time she was abandoned and left to starve in the Canadian wilderness she had given up on her life. That is, until a gentle giant offered her a helping hand, or more accurately, a helping hoof.
"My Dad is a Moose" is the story of a girl finding family (and maybe even love) in the most unexpected place, as well as uncovering that maybe there is much more to the wild than she ever imagined.
