Have you ever hear of the saying 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'? How about 'if at first you don't succeed, try try again'? Well, what didn't kill Rachel did not make her stronger and when she didn't succeed trying again only made it worse.
'My head's 500 feet under ground full of water. It drips out my eyes and rolls down my chin. I flick it off cursing. They've marked my hands with cuts and scars, smearing dirt and blood on them. They've cut off my lips and feet so I can no longer say blessed or run away. I'm a mute. I'm a paralyzed. I'm a girl. I'm a me. They dug a hole and threw me in. End of story.'

((I'm not making fun of someone who is mute or paralyzed, I'm just trying to write it from their perspective of being both. If I write something that offends you or would never happen please tell me. If I have any typos also don't be afraid to tell me either
