No, she didn't plan for this to happen.
No, she didn't see this one coming.
And no, she really couldn't do anything about it.

See, people come and go. All the time. Some stay shorter, some stay longer. Some make you itch, some cause you pain, some give you love, some teach you things.

But only one person will ever arrive in your life that'll shatter everything that your life is. The walls and the façades and the pride and the plans and maybe your heart.

And they never knock before they step in your life. They literally jump in through the window. It doesn't matter if you got the door locked, they will find a way to come inside.

It doesn't matter if you've got your heart locked. They WILL touch it. They WILL shatter it.

  People call that 'fate'.

  Laura Robinson calls that 'catastrophe'.

That title might be the only thing Laura Robinson and Austin Walker agree on.

But that one thing, leads to more.
_______________

"She didn't expect her life to become full of grey visions, smiles that never quite reach the eyes, empty beauties, senseless conversations, unrevealed secrets, and silent screams."

"He didn't expect his life to become full of colorful tragedies, daydreaming eyes, electric souls, aesthetic words, untold stories, and simple smiles."

"None of them saw this coming, and nobody ever asked for this."

I feel arms wrap around me, pulling me into a warm body. "No." I whisper out, I try to get away but it was no use, the arms only wrapped tighter around my waist. My body freezes when a hand comes around my throat. "I told you kitten, I love the chase." I let out a groan when he bites my ear, pulling it. "Seems like I'm not the only one." A dark chuckle leaves his lips sending shivers down my body. I hold my thighs together as much as I could. "Luca, let her get ready." I look at Nikola, Luca let's go of me with a groan and I go to walk away from him. "You could always skip therapy and I could give you some therapy." "Luca." x x x Welcome to the life of Jessica Winters. A woman with a sad past. She was alone growing up, then she found Janice and Ray. Also Available On Inkitt "Can I ask you something?" She asked softly. "Sure," he smiled. She looked up at him. "Why did you want to be my friend? I mean, there were so many people to choose from. Why me? I'm not even worth it." "You looked so lonely. So sad, so hidden. You looked like you were so used to being silent. But I knew there was more to it than what meets the eye. I wanted to decode the mystery." He looked deep into her eyes. "So what do you want?" She held his gaze, even though she hated eye contact. He smiled softly and sang, "All I wanna be, all I ever wanna be, is somebody to you." ________________________________________________ Darkness and shadows were all she ever saw. She lived in silence, her whole world a monochromatic display that only she could see. Her red rimmed glasses only made clearer her strife and the elastic band on her left wrist reminded her of her long lived sorrow. She hid from the world, going unnoticed by everyone, slowly crumbling to dust on her own. That was all until one faithful day when someone did the unthinkable and decided that she was worth noticing. She was the girl in the grey hoodie. And he was someone who cared. Take your mind on a journey of two unique souls, sprinkle in a little friendship, a teaspoon of tears, a spoon of laughter and fun and maybe a pinch of violence and love with a hint of secrets. And while you wait for that delicious cake to bake, a good sing along won't hurt. "COME ON!" he yelled, popping back up and slicking his hair out of his face like he was in a shampoo commercial. "IT'S NOT THAT BAD!" "That's what people say right before they die," I muttered, clutching my towel tighter around my shoulders. Kai was already stripping off his shirt like we were in an Abercrombie & Fitch: Wilderness Edition ad. Robin, on the other hand, was sitting safely on a rock with a bag of chips, observing the chaos with a judgmental squint and zero intention of getting wet. "You going in?" Felix asked beside me, voice soft but teasing. He had his hoodie slung over one shoulder, his shirt lifted slightly where he was fidgeting with the hem. I looked at him, suspicious. "Are you?" He gave a one-shouldered shrug. "Only if you do." "Oh, so if I drown from hypothermia, you're cool going down with me?" "Basically," he said, and smiled-the real kind. The crooked, honest kind. The kind I was starting to crave without meaning to. And just like that, my stubborn pride made the decision for me. "Fine. But if I die, I'm haunting you first." ... The humorous people hater, Athena. The girl with a quiet demeanor when she's not with people she's comfortable with and who hates attention from people she doesn't like (which is probably many in this case). She always keeps a low profile in school and tries to push through the endless social interactions around her. The friend group who she lives with is the complete opposite, they're chaotic to say the least. The artsy blonde girl who has a dick of a boyfriend, and the gay dude with musical talent, where the best people she met. When she waits for the bus she takes from school to home, she meets the Asian boy who draws. Read to embrace their story. ... Complete:✔️

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As in any coming of age story, they will experience growing pains... but will they survive them before its too late? PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS.

We are too drunk and he is too close and even though we are in a room full of people, we are too alone. -------------------------- Notes: This fan fiction is dedicated to people who have experienced loss, people who were bullied, who struggled with their sexuality and or their race. People who use humour as their coping mechanism. People who feel like outcasts and freaks. People who fell in love with their best friends. You are not alone. You are Albus. And this is our story. It is also dedicated to grief, for showing me the true price for love. And most importantly dedicated to my one and only best friend. This story would not have seen the light of day, had our paths not diverged and our friendship not quietly scattered to the winds. In the closing of chapters, I made sure that the echo of our promises that we once held were not just words, but something truly heard. I will never not think of you during storms. Make sure to leave your thoughts and enjoy ;) This story can be also found on Ao3.
