There are original characters in this, some taking place of canon characters and others added in as side characters. Many of our favorite characters will both look and act a little differently, as such, but this is just to help them all fit better together. This story contains a lot of original plot points, with a sprinkling of beats from some favorite episodes, but I hope you'll give it a chance and still enjoy it!***Complete

"Why are you doing this, Merlin?" - Merlin takes the crown for himself, rather than wait for it to come upon Arthur. (AU based on the scenario from 2x1, but uses many elements of canon after that as well) (Merlin is NOT DARK in this story, though there are graphic depictions of violence and they should only be read if you are comfortable with them)Complete
