Lance Maverick L. Anuevo is a senior high student who is suffering from anxiety disorder called Astraphobia, A person who feared thunderstorms. He got this kind of phobia when he was eight years old, the age where her mom left him without any reason. The weather is really mad which adds to his pain, fear and sadness. This scenario triggers his emotion that leads him to be Astraphobic.
Reuben Adam E. Manuel is the only child of Marie and Danilo Manuel. They own a big company in the country. Ever since Evelyn ( Lance's mother ) leave without any warning, they decided to take care of his son and treat him like a real member of the family to repay her kindness and loyalty as a maid over the past nine years in the service for their family. Adam is bold, straight forward, sporty and he care less on everything. He is not easy to approach unless you have connection to him.
One day, Lance got panic attacks due to heavy rainstorms. Adam don't know what to do, instead he put his arms around Lance to give him safety and comfort.
On the other hand, Lance is always comfortable whenever Adam is with him. He knows Adam is just being sweet, thoughtful and worried for him as a friend, but he can't fight his crazy feelings towards the man. Adam is special, Adam is his comfort zone. He need to hide and ignore his affection in order to keep him on his side.
Running is tiring.
Hiding is unbearable.
Escaping the reality is not the key.
Will they be able to make the storm calm? Will they end up into a bittersweet relationship? or It will be the greatest nightmare of their life?
