Want to read a Viking runaway story? then you have come to the right place. I guess. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third has been chosen to kill a Monstrous Nightmare. Lucky him [note sarcasm]. Anyhoo, he decides that he can't kill dragons after befriending a night fury. Which is correct. Dragons are amazing creatures. After leaving the land of 'kill or be killed'. Hiccup meets some amazing people. He goes on crazy shenanigans and frees dragons. He has to go back to berk to free their dragons'. But ends up getting captured because of some eels. While back at his home, the most feared dragon controller plans an attack on Dragon's Edge...

Hiccup's Secret
Everyone in the town knew him; the screw up; the fish bone; the freak. No one knows what he was really like; a side only they knew. He was brave, kind and full of wonder. Hiccup did not eat with the Vikings; nor did he fight on their side and he definitely didn't want to die for them. Hiccup was an unknown outcast; hidden by the masks he would hide himself under. He hid and fled knowing no one could ever find out who he was; what he was. The black wings and scales, the green slit eyes, the tail and ears only a dragon could have; they sawed across the sky in silent grace. In the sky he was free, here he was free. A Runaways Resolve, A Dragon Master's Legacy
You have likely seen it all before, Hiccup gets chosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare but instead of staying to try and prove to his village dragons aren't the monsters they think they are, he leaves. Abandons the world he knows for a world of possibility, a world where he can be him, be free. What if he is one day discovered by a group of dragon riders and chose to join them as they had adventure after adventure. It would be a good life but of course it would never stay so happy, things would change sometimes for the better sometimes for worse. Old scars would surface, old lives reappear and new faces vanish, how would this affect him. Well shall we find out? I don't own the How To Train Your Dragon franchise of course and this is all done for fun. You know the legal stuff. I also don't own the image, I got it off of google as one could expect. For now the story isn't Mature though this may change in the future as I continue so I will make sure to change that if it becomes necessary, just an early warning just in case I break a guideline.
