Revolves around a group of kids on their first raid. In the early days of the raid the army that the kids accompany was doing well against the English forces, but in one of the later battles the army takes on a well-fortified settlement which at first seemed like it was no chance for the Vikings but then once they got inside things start to get messy and as a result the Vikings had to retreat but the group of kids was too far into the settlement to make it back to where the main army was retreating and had to retreat from a different part of the settlement which left the kids separated from the main army.

The people of the planet are called "Serenities". Each person or "Serenity" lives in one of the 12 major capitals with their own set of rules. No one knew where this came from but it was dangerous to leave it unsolved. A man rose up to fix this situation with his own method and was hoping to succeed but, he had trouble reaching his goals. The World went into chaos knowing they can't be saved. Civilizations went down, resources began to rot, children and adults died out on short time. How did it come to this?
