Revolves around a group of kids on their first raid. In the early days of the raid the army that the kids accompany was doing well against the English forces, but in one of the later battles the army takes on a well-fortified settlement which at first seemed like it was no chance for the Vikings but then once they got inside things start to get messy and as a result the Vikings had to retreat but the group of kids was too far into the settlement to make it back to where the main army was retreating and had to retreat from a different part of the settlement which left the kids separated from the main army.
