To Warm Frozen Fingers // A Short Story Collection
I like to write. As you may be able to tell. I haven't been very good at writing lately. As you may also have been able to tell. That's why I've decided to write a short story collection. The stories won't interlink, some may vary wildly and you might even wonder if they were written by the same person (the answer is yes). Overall, I'm aiming to write 23 stories, which was one per day for 23 days but I failed at that (*seethes* college work...) so now I'm just aiming to finish it before winter is over! The stories won't be very long - I'm only allowed to write for 10 minutes per story, just to get me going again (and literally warm my fingers, I get really really cold fingers for some reason) and the most I've ever written in that time is around 500 words. Cupid's Favourite Trio
This story is set in an alternate world where only males exist, divided into three categories: omega, alpha, and beta. In this world, omegas have the ability to give birth, breastfeed, and experience heats. However, these heats can be managed with medication, and pheromone effects can be suppressed with special patches. Without these, the natural attraction between omegas and alphas can become overwhelming. Despite these differences, the world operates similarly to our own. The main character is neurodivergent, with autism, OCD, and ADHD. As someone with ADHD, I wanted to represent these conditions thoughtfully and raise awareness about them. While I am not an expert on mental health, I hope to provide a meaningful portrayal of these experiences, alongside exploring mature themes, including physical intimacy, mental illness, and a lawsuit. Please be advised that this story contains sensitive material. If any of the themes mentioned above make you uncomfortable, I encourage you to proceed with caution or refrain from reading. -Shavi^^
