Like his mother, everyone knew Dalton as a merciless businessman but unlike her, he was not that gifted with it comes to ruling their empire. He was aware of that. Thus, he would rather cheat, do anything just to be on top of his game, to be the best. To the point he has done something he would eventually realize that he would regret for the rest of his life.
