Abyss was a young and promising animus, using his magic for the good of the Nightwing tribe. But when his mentor, Darkstalker, disappears suddenly, the loss of his guidance lets Abyss' magic slowly eat away at his soul. Fathom finally dies of old age, and he starts hearing of the homicidal animus dragon of ages past, Albatross, and these stories tip him over the edge; he soon realises too that he is the most powerful dragon left, and uses this to his advantage. Join him in his genocidal plans as he looks to purge Pyrrhia of it's future!
Before the War of Sandwing Succession, we don't hear much about the history of dragons. This book starts about a month before Darkstalker was imprisoned in the mountain by Clearsight and may have continuity issues (I haven't got around to reading Darkstalker: Legends yet), so I apologise.All Rights Reserved
