The life of an outlaw was never an easy one. That's why you left it.
After months of your separation from the Van Der Linde gang, you hear about one of their jobs going sour. You'd left that life behind you, but they were still your family. It was time to go back to them.
You assumed you'd be helping them get back on their feet, not sticking around for too long. But as the events unfolded and time was running out for the gang, you found that your actions could make the difference between coming out alive or going up in smoke.

" ༄ --------------------------------- --------------------------------- Way before when Arthur was in his 20s, you were in the gang but something happens that changes your whole mindset and you disappear for fourteen years. Fast forward to the present (horseshoe overlook) you meet the Van Der Linde gang once again. But it's not how you planned it. Technically you planned to 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 see them again. After much persuasion, you agree to rejoin the gang and they accept you back but some of them are still upset that you even left in the first place, especially Arthur. You soon get back in the routine of the gang life and become closer with Arthur. You have an unstable relationship with him but try to get through it. Arthur finally forgives you but this all changes when he finds out what else your hiding. ✯ ❏ ✯ This is my first time doing one of these so i'll do my best. But will she help steer the gang and its two key gunslingers - Arthur Morgan and John Marston - right? Or will she be responsible for its downfall? * Well, here I go again, folks! Tine Nilsen was an OC cooked up for an otherworldly short story in my RDR2 collection, BELLICOSE (that story is called "Left Behind"). I liked her and her dynamic with Arthur and John so much, I thought I'd give this a spin! It will follow events of the game for the most part, but with the omission of a certain character, expect things to change, some. This story was completed on February 23, 2023. Hopefully you'll like it! This is a mature story written for mature, 18+ audiences: violence, swears, smut will all be within, reader beware. Closed-off and rough; mean and unforgiving, uncaring and simply horrible. The apathetic cowboy draws himself no attention, usually. He's always sat around camp, slumped over a table or bent down, elbows on his knees as he cleans his guns or sharpens his knife, carving the one same piece of wood for days. He didn't talk much; he felt himself way too high above the others to even converse-exception being Dutch. That's who Micah Bell was, simply. She couldn't change it. Micah Bell is a threat to anyone that crosses his path, and Melody knows it. So why has she gotten herself so involved with the outlaw? She tried to keep to herself countless of times; he hated her, she wasn't a pure American and that alone should have been enough to draw her away-and yet it simply never did. Maybe it was just a rebound, wanting to feel something after feeling nothing from her horrible, previous partner-similar in many ways to the blonde cowboy-for years. Maybe it was his careless and cocky demeanor she never failed to give a chuckle to. And maybe, it was something more. She was going to figure it out, one way or another. They would; together.
