I came to the Outer Banks expecting a summer of sunburns, surf, and my cousin's ridiculous Kook parties. I wasn't expecting hurricanes, fights on the beach, or a Pogue with ocean-blue eyes and a smirk that drives me insane. Everyone keeps warning me about the divide. Kooks vs. Pogues But I'm starting to think the lines here blur easier than people admit.
