Michelle's life was almost perfect. Loving family, great college, perfect grades, good friends, and a crush on one of the sweetest guys she's met. The only problem is that a local werewolf has decided she's his mate. With the struggles of falling in love and discovering things about herself she didn't know, she also gets thrown in the middle of a fued between the hunters and the hunted. ***** He finally made eye contact and I couldn't tell what he was thinking, or how he was feeling at that moment. He had me shut out. "Dad won't let her in the pack." "I know." "Are you sure she's human?" I rub my eyes again, they were really beginning to burn. "Yes, unless I've gone absolutely insane." I stopped rubbing my eyes for a moment. "Maybe I am crazy? I feel like it." Caden sighed, "That's the mate bond. The longer you go without, the worse you get." I knew that. I didn't like to think about it, but we all grew up hearing about it. Going crazy, your body shutting down. Wolves weren't meant to be separated from their Soulmates. It physically and mentally drained them until they just one day gave up. I never thought it would happen to me since it doesn't ever actually happen. We all knew better. Unfortunately my human mate did not. Caden watched me from where he sat, he knew what I was thinking, and was thinking the same himself. We didn't know how much time I had. "Well, I for one, as Alpha, would not mind a human in our midst if she is your mate." I let a small chuckle slip out and leaned back in my chair, crossing my arms. "Is it because you're so accepting of humans, or because you insist on having me as your Beta?" Caden smirked at me, "Does it matter?"

It was gentle at first, tender little pecks, before Fionn embedded his fingers into Dante's hair. The vampire tugged Fionn flush against his body as they explored one another's mouths. Fionn was a little fearful of Dante's fangs but every time they grazed over his lips or tongue he let out a soft moan. Admittedly, Fionn had never kissed a vampire, had never even considered it. Yet, with Dante, he never wanted to stop. He had responded so quickly, giving in to every shameful little urge he had ever had for the vampire, immediately becoming a breathless, groaning mess. "Think of me instead," Dante murmured when Fionn had to break off the kiss, he had been getting a little light headed. Dante brushed his thumb over Fionn's cheek but the wolf just stared on in disbelief. "Come on, Fi, don't act like you didn't know my feelings for you." "I-I didn't," Fionn stammered, his voice so quiet it was almost inaudible. "Fi, I flirted with you mercilessly," Dante was beginning to look a little self-conscious, his brows drawn together in a soft frown. "Yeah, but that was just teasing and stuff. This is like a whole world different," Dante was silent for an entire agonising minute, merely staring into Fionn's eyes, before sitting up and running his hand through his hair. "You're right," he muttered, scowling down at his lap, "it was stupid of me to assume you felt the same way. It wouldn't work anyway, we'd end up killing each other," Dante rose from the bed and walked toward the bathroom. "Wait," Fionn gripped Dante's wrist, though the vampire kept his eyes on the bathroom door, "maybe it would work... Maybe I really want it to work," Fionn spoke quietly but he knew Dante would hear every word clear as day. "You can't lie to me, Fionn, I can read your thoughts," Dante muttered, still refusing to look at the wolf... {Book Two of the Inamorate Series}

"You can't deny everything just like that," I screamed at the boy I once thought loved me as tears welled up in my eyes. "Well, watch me," he said casually, crashing on the sofa in his room. "We have to find a solution to this pregnancy. You can't expect me to abort our baby," I said, trying to make him see things from a better perspective, but the look on his face just proved how stupid he thinks I am right now. "Your baby, not ours," he said, shocking me. "Are you seriously denying sleeping with me and getting me pregnant?" I screamed at him as I let my tears flow freely from my eyes. "Look, I accept that I slept with you, but I definitely didn't get you pregnant. Why don't you ask all your numerous lovers? Maybe one of them will accept that they released their semen into you," he said with a bored expression on his face. "What are you talking about? I don't have any other boyfriend apart from you," I said, trying to fight the truth that was staring at me. "Oh, please spare me all this. Whenever you are done with this drama, leave and shut the door behind you," he said, getting up and walking to the bathroom while I stared at him wide-eyed. "Just so you know, if anyone asks you who is responsible for that thing you're carrying, and you call my name, I promise you I will deny ever knowing you at all. And trust me when I say I'll make your life miserable," he finally said before walking into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. --- Twenty-two-year-old Paige Moretti is struggling with her son and her very demanding job with a low salary. "Let them go, Dante." I whip my head to see a small boy standing the clearing with blonde hair and a green cloak hanging from shoulders. He isn't very tall however he holds his stance well. He doesn't seem to be more than Cassandra's age. Maybe 12 at most. I abruptly turn my head back hearing the man holding a sword to my throat chuckling with a sinister grin. "Oh, poor boy, what are you go to do about it?" The yellow teeth gleam as he begins stalking towards the boy who does not look the least bit fazed. I look around at the other men who are following the leader. I pull Cassandra tighter to my back as I take small steps back. I keep my eye trained on the men but also fear for the naive boy. "Do you really want to test me Dante?" He asks raising a single eyebrow. For a minute the men stop their movements. I see their hesitation for fear... Fear of what? I take the moment to stick Cassandra behind a nearby tree. She crouches down while I pull my sword out from its place. "How do you know my name?" The scoundrel raises his sword challenging towards the boy before taking a final step towards him. Then the unexpected happens. The young boy chuckles so darkly. It sounded almost... demonic. All the men instinctively raise their swords. "Oh Dante, I didn't know your name... but you know someone dear to me." "Spit it out boy!" The once grinning man is now looking around frantically. I continue my eyes scanning the small boy. He looks directly me and gives me a small nod before saying one word that caused all hell to breaks loose. "Artemis." Artemis is not an ordinary girl. She grew up in the wilderness after being shunned due to unique abilities and her different physical attributes. Blessed with an ability that scared others, she roams the wild with only her guarded one. That is until she stumbles into a situation that brings her in front of a prince.

This is an erotic romance. Recommended 18+! Completed. Excerpt: His mouth was back on mine in an instant, the door behind us rattling loudly as he thrust against me. "Does the geriatric kiss you like this?" He mumbled against me as his teeth nipped at my already swollen lips. I pulled back once more, my heighted state of emotions, my anger taking over. "What if I said I don't want you?" A devilish grin took over as one of his hands slid along my thigh, under my skirt, his fingers tracing over the soft, damp material of my underwear. His mouth moved down to my neck, nipping at the juncture between my shoulder and neck. "I would call you a fucking liar." I tried to bite back the moan as his teeth skimmed my neck, before sinking in hard, his fingers pushing under the edge of my panties. He hesitated for a moment, waiting for me to stop him. I didn't want him to stop. One finger slid over my folds before pushing into my entrance, sinking in deep. He groaned in pleasure, his erection twitching against my core as his finger began to move. "I can feel just how much you want me." **** Lucian Vanderbrooke has been labeled many things in his lifetime. Bad boy, asshole, troublemaker, pornstar, the list goes on.
