Haunted in Dreams

I woke up gasping for breath at three in the morning. My heart was beating fast as I head towards next door. "Ma...open the door please," I yelled while knocking on their wooden door. My mum quickly opened the door and asked, "What is it again? What's wrong?" "I cannot sleep." I answered. So I squeezed myself in their bed. My dad didn't bother as he was accustomed of me disturbing them in the middle of the night often.

"It was vivid in my mind what I dreamt last night," as I shared to my cousin the next day. "There was this lady sitting at the edge of my bed. Her hair is long and it covers her face. She was dressed in white." I knew that I was having nightmare that night. I tried my best to wake up. I knocked my fist as hard as I can against the wooden wall that divides my room to the next room. But it seemed like I was knocking on the air. I screamed very loud but there was no voice coming out. Until I cried out to my God, "Lord, wake me up." My eyes opened.

It was only the first.
