Poor 19-year-old Petey boy always had to hide his identity and sometimes deal with the destroyed suit. It has been three and five months since he became Spider-Man. He had in mind to have a sidekick who would help him in action. His wish came half true.
Also, it may contain rewrites and what-if stories.
The rewrite has Peter as a 24-year-old who finished the college and still cannot decide which job to get.
