Virgil was once an average kid, until he gained the ability to see ghosts. Now he spends what he calls his 'normal paranormal life' tending to the bodies of the dead at the St. Joans funeral home & morgue. Sure, ghosts were apart of his daily life; but he wasn't expecting them to stay with him once he was done fixing their bodies.

Animals that died, strange creatures that roam about, and a strange hooded figure that seems so familiar. No one else can see these things, though these things can see them. They can affect them as well. Virgil hates cities, the bigger the city the more death there is, the more work he has to do. His job is to guide souls to the after life, or if they turn malevolent, cut them down. The moment he was assigned to a city, he already had a death to take care of. Except, it turned out to be a false alarm since the man survived. Virgil wouldn't have cared too much since it happens often, but now that man can see him and other spirits. The ships will be prinxiety, logicality, and demus I will display trigger warnings at the beginning for every chapter as needed, which will include death (human and animal), main character death (kinda? they just be a ghost, they're still in the story), possible gore, and cursing.
