VERY slow updates, rewrite of the original "Realmtale - The Fallen" and also posted on Fanfiction.net. Rated mature for talking about what Chara did in undertale.

This would all culminate in one human's intrusion into the world of monsterkind known only by their stage name Shifty. Supervised by GASTER II's bygone machine celebrity METTA, they would embark on a relentless spree across the kingdom, slaughtering hundreds of innocents in their path for the sake of dramatic flair. Chara must now overcome her own deep-rooted demons and evade the ruthless Solar Warriors in order to become the western hero she always imagined herself as, protecting both her loved ones and the broader monster kingdom from the tyranny that METTA has rebirthed to bestow. Although monsters had inborn magic on their side they were sentenced to live in the Underground, seperated from the surface by a barrier of human souls. The monsters have broken through the barrier and now wish to live among us. Duska watches from her room as a reporter interviews King Asgore on the TV, wondering how life will change for her. Now she lives with two monsters. How much will her life change? Can she reveal her deepest secret to them? Will she find more about herself? Will she fall in love? It had been less than a day after your best friend Chara, had gone missing. You were already really worried about her (Chara is Female in this) The others didn't look so worried but that's because you and Chara were pretty much slaves to them, although you thought that everyone has some sort of kindness within. You then decided to go to the only place Chara ever wanted to go, Mount Ebot. So this isn't a full on Sans X reader, it does have it in it so there that. But I'm sure it'll get better along the way. So most of the art in this is going to actually be mine, the art I used for the cover, is not however. The credit for that art goes to the actual artist. The music I use isn't mine either. A long time ago, two races dominated the land: monsters and humans. The relationship between both races was conflictual, hostile, and difficult, as humans feared monsters, both for their appearances and for the great power they could possess by obtaining a human soul. Because of this, monsters were always treated as scum and creatures to be feared, creating a significant prejudice against them. However, one day, the monsters grew tired of this situation, and their king decided to start a war against all humans, thus decreeing the beginning of ruin for their own people. This war lasted a long time, but in the end, the victors were the humans, who, with great magical power derived from the souls of the wizards of the time, sealed the monsters underground. Many years passed after this event. Legends said that any human who fell into that underground would die, but a child decided to go to the place where everything had been sealed. They ended up falling but managed to survive the fall and now seek a way to escape or a reason to stay. Immense credits to Error Sannes, a YouTube channel creating its own AU of StoryFell. Without his narrative, I would have created something much more basic, so to speak. Of course, I will also create my own scenes and specific interactions, but what he has done is already very good and helps me a lot to have a direction. Yet the monsters still struggle to find their place within the world. Most accept the monsters, but there are those who wish nothing more than the complete annihilation of monster kind. Merely sealing them away is not enough. As ambassador for the monsters, it is Frisk's responsibility to fight for everyone's right to live on the surface. But at the same time, an internal battle rages on within her. Not only that, her relationship with Sans is strained. Trust is not so easily regained after the slaughter of one's beloved, despite it all being erased. Or was it really? Was this truly the last RESET? Sans wondered. But he knew only Frisk would tell, only this young girl would decide his future. He hated the thought of it at first, but hatred began to grow numb after he figured out he had no say in his own future. He had to admit though, Frisk was pretty reasonable, it was Chara who was the maniac. But she was gone now, so what was the anticipating, eerie, feeling that he had in his bones? The feeling that something wasn't right, of course, this timeline was already incredibly strange. The feeling sat in his in the pit of his stomach, tying itself into knots, until that fateful rainy day when all of his questions would be answered. So basically, this is a fanfiction of a fancomic of the game Undertale. Look, I'm gonna admit, I'm little stuck in the Undertale fandom, so this is my of slowly crawling out of it. Anywho, I strongly suggest you read the fancomic which this fanfiction is based off of, DeeperDown, before reading my story.
