{Everyone thinks they're normal, then suddenly you get wings at the most inconvenient of times.} Ester thinks she's pretty normal. She avoids people for the most part, boys especially. She has convinced herself that perfect boys only exist in books, and so spends most of her time reading. When her teacher asks her to tutor Toby Parsard, she thinks her life has ended. And in a way, it has. Soon the thing that she dreaded most has happened to her: she's in love. However, the magic of the first kiss isn't quite what they had expected. When they both sprout wings, they are forced to move back to Aves, a place where corruption has ruined the once carefree lives of the bird-men. What can a flock of teens do to change the world?

No, he's "THE" bad boy, and player of the school that every guy wants to be and every girls wants to be with. When he comes back Bella's feelings for him grows even more, but one little problem the "Queen Bee," or as Bella likes to call her the "Queen Bitch" of the school has her eyes out for him. As senior year begins with Bella's feelings growing stronger by the minute; she can't keep it all inside of her or else she'll go insane so she starts to write her feelings down in letters, but as each letter she writes, she sees how things change and how the people she thought she can trust hurts her. All the letters are kept in a box hidden from the outside world. Does he finally knows how she feels? Or would a catastrophe lead to death before all feelings are figured out?
