Castiel's life was already a mess that could not possibly be fixed-his body was lying in a puddle of his own blood in the streets,with no memory of how he ended up in this situation.Or even without any memories from the past at all.The man in the now soaked and dusted trenchcoat was hopeless and lost,ready to accept his faith and give in.
But with Dean Winchester's appearance,everything came back into place.He made his life worth living again,making him feel alive and whole.Living without him would be a neer-ending nightmare,like the ones he was cursed to have at night.
