After losing her father, Cassie decides to put in a singles ad to find her mother a date to the ball, but what she gets in return was so much more.

Relationships are always complicated, but the ones between mothers and daughters are especially intricate. Faith in someone else is hard to come by, especially when you know you are right. Finding lost love and starting again, a mother and daughter learn to trust each other, have faith in the other, and remember what love is about. This romantic mystery has some laughs, plenty of adventure, and filled with obstacles that these two must endure.

Cassie Fields is the editor of the Village Voice, which is the hometown paper in the small hamlet of Aurora. Knowing her widowed mother, Helen Fields is very lonely, she decides to find her some companionship using the classified ads.

Helen is worried about her daughter. Since Cassandra's terrible breakup, she is concerned by the choices she makes in men. The last thing Helen wants is for her daughter to go through the same pain she's had in her own life. Instead, Helen and Cindy will find Mr. Right for Cassie.
