It is said that every single person in the world has a soulmate. When a child is born a notebook is created in the same color as their soulmate's favorite color. Janus does not want to ever find his soulmates. He thinks that if they don't ever meet then they will be protected from his father. Even if he wants to be with them, he will risk his life before putting any of them in danger.
Roman and Remus are not soulmates in this. They are soulmates with Patton, Logan, Janus, and Virgil, but not each other.

A Royal Adventure
(DONE) It's come across everyone's mind once or twice about why Remus Sanders is like the way he is. Even Remus himself has wondered why is he so different from Roman. If they're twins aren't they supposed to be similar. Why is it that Roman has green eyes and Remus has a dark red? Why is he so different. He thinks the only way to find out why he's so different is to go back to the Imagination Kingdom, break into the castle, go to the library and grab mother's old journal. A journal only the royal family is allowed to place their hands on. Roman, enjoying his time with Patton, Logan and Virgil wonders why his brother is so different too. When night falls, he goes into the library only to run into Remus. Remus tells Roman his plan and they team up to find answers. Which means they have to go on a journey together. Over this long journey, they get into intense fights, harsh arguments and brutal betrayals. The Royal Brothers meet with their old friend, talk about their own lives, while remembering old memories, old quotes and good sayings from their parents. They realize they have more in common than they thought. Yet when trouble lies ahead, do they finally put their differences aside for once or continue to fight and get the other one in trouble? Patton lives in a world where the first words your soulmate says to you is written on your skin. The permentant presence of the words 'You're in my seat' on his thigh had yet to disappear until his soulmate utters them one day. Deep down he dreaded that day. You see, Patton had no interest in a romantic relationship which was abnormal in a world ruled by the soulmate system. Virgil hated the soulmate system. He hated it because it gave him the words 'well aren't you a ray of sunshine' printed boldly on his forehead. Luckily for him, foundation was his best friend (and his only friend, for that matter). He never showed it, but he longed for the day his soulmate would sweep the aggravating statement off his forehead and him off his feet. Logan, to put it simply, was married to his work. A love interest didn't interest him in the slightest. The only heed he took that the soulmate system existed was the thinly printed 'what did you say?' on his left palm. He heard that statement a lot but the mild annoyance on his hand was yet to disappear. Roman lived up to his name as a big romantic. In his eyes, the soulmate system was the best thing to happen to him, so the fact that the words written on his collarbone were 'go away' really burst his bubble. The thought of spending his life with his 'other half' was enthralling to him, but the fact his dad expected him to settle down with a nice girl was terrifying.
