I snatched my hand away from the apples and jumped back. My chest heaved up and down from the scare. 

"Woah woah woah hey. I didn't mean to startle you. I'm so sorry are you alright?" He reaches out to touch my shoulder and I jerked backward.

"Don't fucking touch me. The fuck is wrong with you bro?" I said rudely and looked around.

Many eyes were on us.
He put his hands up in surrender "Once again, I'm sorry. I was only asking if you were going to get the grapes because I was going to get some" he explained.

"Then fucking get some" I brought my volume down but my words were still sharp.

He nodded his head "yes but, I can't if you're standing in front of them."

Silence.

I scanned where I was standing and realized he was right. There was no way he could've grabbed them even if he tried to grab it from behind.
If I cared enough I'd be embarrassed right now but I was much too pissed.

Yet, looking into his green eyes brought a wave of calmness I hadn't felt in months.
But I wasn't ready to feel it again. Not so soon.

"Go to hell" I growled
