He has dreams. She has hopes.
He has a terrible past. She has a ruined future.
They offer him sympathy and her, pity.
So similar, but worlds apart.
And last, but not least-
They had never heard the words "I love you".
But they finally understood what they meant when they met each other.

Eve and Elijah have a past. A past that means so much to both of them. They just don't remember whom they shared that it with. So, when they meet again, all they can think of each other with, is hate. 
They had met during the beginning of pain. Their future starts with two completely people.
Torn apart, piece by piece. 
Can they put down their defenses and see who actually lies behind the mask? Even if they have to do what, so long ago, they each promised to never come near. Can they find light in the most horrible darkness they have ever faced?
