In January 2020, I lost my father in a traumatic way as he passed while I was performing CPR.   As a way to cope, I started to journal.  My journal entries quickly turned to poetry, a form of writing that I had no experience in.  Over time, my poems have evolved to be about more than my father.  I'll start to share them in this book.  I believe the works in here are a collaboration between my father and I.  Rest in peace SBR.  I love you and hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoy the comfort I get from writing these poemsAll Rights Reserved

This is a collection of poems and pieces of writing. That I have written over the last 2 years of my life. I've never been one to actually live. To take the risk. A lot of the things I have written are about things that have happened in my head. Or random thoughts that have popped into my head that I was able to make more of. I've never known how to say the words aloud. Even if i did I never had the confidence to so. So I would write. I hope you enjoy and are able to feel something.
