In January 2020, I lost my father in a traumatic way as he passed while I was performing CPR. As a way to cope, I started to journal. My journal entries quickly turned to poetry, a form of writing that I had no experience in. Over time, my poems have evolved to be about more than my father. I'll start to share them in this book. I believe the works in here are a collaboration between my father and I. Rest in peace SBR. I love you and hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoy the comfort I get from writing these poems

2019 Writing Scrapbook
2019 brings a new year and new life to my writing. As such, I will share all of my poetry, short stories, and snippets of writing within this scrapbook that is written during the course of 2019. DISCLAIMER: Several poems were removed on August 11th, 2019, due to them being published in my Amazon e-book, "Seasons of Love", which can be purchased for $.99 Some of the poems contain photos. All photos or drawings were created by me, and they are all either photos of the event itself or were created to represent the event that is discussed in the poem. STORY ARE FOR MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 𝗘𝗬𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗡 𝗨𝗦... It's easy to love someone when things are perfect and everything's wonderful. But, to love someone when things are difficult, when they're not being perfect, when they're messing up, flaws are seen, mistakes are made...that's what really allow you to see how much love there is really. Anyone can love someone who doing and saying all the right things, being everything you want and need, when they're got it all together and it all figured it out. But, to love someone at their lowest, to love someone despite how broken they feel, when they're lost, when you're willing to stand by them no matter how challenging or difficult things may be, that kind of love is a lot more beautiful. That kind of love is a lot more meaningful. Thank you for loving me both times when things are good and bad, up and down.
