( ON HOLD )

for most people, living off on cheap noodles, late night gigs, and part-time jobs, in a cramped apartment complex, is the worst way to live - this was the life fukuda eiji was living. It wasn't an easy life, but he also wasn't one to dwell on what can't be changed. though he didn't have a 'happy disposition' in life, he wasn't hopeless that things wouldn't get better; life was unfair, and for people like him, you have to work your ass off to even earn a place in life. that's just how it is.

and then, after a particularly late night gig, he meets hayashida asa. someone he finds himself unexpectedly bonding with over lit cigarettes, evenly-matched sarcasm, witty banter, and random conversations on the roof of their apartment complex.

but there is much mystery about asa that eiji cannot figure out. things and topics that she seems to be avoiding and keeping to herself . . . but then again maybe some things are just better left unknown. maybe some things are better left unsaid.

. . . right?
