▶ Kiana: For the past handful of years, hiding behind anonymous words suited me just fine. I could twist them, expressing myself, and know that people found something of themselves when they were sung. But anonymity is no longer possible. As much as I want to, I can't keep my head buried in the sand and ignore everything around me. Ignore the past and its importance. I'm stepping out of the shadows, in part because I don't have a choice. The other part, though... Because I want to take the plunge and see what's on the other side. Most of all, find my heart again and get things right this time around. However, it's soon apparent that not everyone is in agreement with this new development. I guess I'll see just how many potholes I'll find during this journey. ▶ Duncan: Most people think I have everything I want.
