After dropping Harry Potter off to the Dursleys, Albus began pondering the decision of where to place baby Melina. She had cried herself to sleep after she was separated from Harry and she was now wrapped in a bundle of blankets in Dumbledore's arms. She had no remaining family, and no people in her life that Dumbledore could trust her to. She had been lucky, however. Lucky to look like Harry to the point where Voldemort thought she was his twin. Lord knows what would have happened if Voldemort knew the truth. In reality, she had been lucky in more ways than one. For Voldemort had only learnt of the prophecy regarding a little boy born in summer, and not of the little girl born in autumn, for that would have changed Melina's fate.

"I look at who I please, when I please, Aurora." He whispered ever so gently. His voice seemed to scratch against the back of his throat which sent a wave of goosebumps across my skin. He has never spoken to me like this before. Draco dragged a finger along my throat up to my chin causing me to naturally tilt my head upward in his direction, which was enough to make me shiver if his voice hadn't already. I let out an almost silent gasp at the sound of my name falling from his lips. Not once in our several years of knowing each other have I ever heard him say my first name. Then he gripped my chin pulling me so close that I could feel the coldness of his breath brush across my lips. "And tonight, that happens to be you." He added. All rights go to J.K. Rowling!!
