WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

Starla has a destiny, which she'll remind anyone who does or does not ask. She is an Ice Princess, a magical sorceress blessed with the power to keep the ever-advancing Winter at bay. At least, that's what she's SUPPOSED to be after a lifetime of rigorous training. However, just a year shy of embarking on her heroic journey, her life as she's known it shatters. In an accidental display of ice magic, a poor city girl named Rayna outs herself as the true Ice Princess. Amid royal scandal and Winter's intensifying cold, Starla is forced to put her jealousy and hero complex aside and train the new girl. To make things more complicated, Rayna doesn't seem to really identify with being a girl, much less a princess. As Starla and Rayna grapple with the pressure of impossible expectations they can't meet and suffocating roles they didn't ask for, can they form an unlikely alliance and prevent a frozen catastrophe? This is book five of a novella series, mostly consisting of shorter stories of 50k-100k word count. Finley Wallace came over the pond a few months ago and made great friends. Now she has her dream job, a best friend who just got married and only recently got to explore a city in which she spent a lot of her childhood. Still, there's always been one thing missing in her life. Love. As it's alluded her, she's never ceased her search to make it real in her life. After so many rather drab connections that always fizzled out, she's been left thinking that perhaps it just isn't in the cards for her. She couldn't have been more wrong. After witnessing a woman being abused in public of all places, her protective instinct takes over and she intervenes. Of course, as kind as this action is, it doesn't come without it's repercussions. Nia Smith has always been a mousey woman. She was that way in her trying youth, so she never expected otherwise in her adulthood. Still, she wants out of this. All of it. She just wants to experience real, pure happiness. After joining her disturbed girlfriend at a comic book convention, Jo gets too physical and a bystander intervenes. A bystander who just so happens to work for the rival of Jo's employers. In a odd turn of events, this absolute stranger takes her under her wing and Nia joins her on a journey of self discovery and freedom. Sadly, not all good things last. In a road trip where she is meant to recruit people to her label of Hiyama Studios, Finley hadn't anticipated someone coming along, though she finds herself more intrigued by Nia with each passing town, city or state. Although it feels as if someone is following them. Someone familiar and frightening... ⚠️Trigger Warning: This novel contains elements of brief physical & emotional abuse, PTSD and soft BDSM. ❤ Mature/Erotic Content ⚢ Lesbian Romance/Lit 📚 Ongoing. !!!My novels are completely off-limits to any adaptations and if plagiarized, you will be reported!
