Book five of the 12-book astrological series is not as happy of a book as the others thus far. It is a book filled with darkness, specifically darkness from Ellie's past. While visiting the town of Sioux Falls, an astrological follows the three hunters there - or so it seems. With people dying in particularly unusual ways, Ellie suspects that it might be something else they're hunting. And whatever it is - it's not the only thing that followed her back to her home town. A whole slew of memories from her past get dug up by being there, all of which make her realize that her life was never truly as normal as she painted it to be. All of those memories which drive Ellie to a particularly rash action that she'll never be able to turn back from.
