When a little cricket named Chirp sets off on a journey to end the war and to prove to her family and kingdom that she is worth it, she ends up befriending a ragtag group of insects who follow her on the journey to The Oracle, and end up saving her life as they do so.

In one world, humans are hunted to extinction. Invasive abominations that were wiped out by the bugs who lived there. Bugs whose peace was robbed of until the act of extermination saved them and gave them their home back. The four friends have to do whatever it takes to keep the human's identity hidden as they try to find her a way home. But there are some bugs out there that won't make it easy for them.

A team of guards get send to live in the living conditions with the new animals. And it's their choice to do the right thing, whichever that might be. It's their question to answer. Are these things animals or people?
