Jeremy was perfectly Sane, capital S, thank you very much. He may have witnessed his best friend's death -- no, not death, because Jeremy was Sane and his best friend Adam was capital NOT dead. Jeremy has to keep reminding him of this fact, because his parents have happily dropped him off at Rios Center for Health and Healing. The problem? Adam was attacked by werewolves, and he has to be alive because Jeremy's own bite healed too quickly for any other logical explanation. Marcus was languidly bored. Being alive for almost two centuries ruined the mood of this thing called life. He messed up, or maybe he stopped caring, but when the police pinned the murder of a woman on him that he definitely committed, he couldn't talk himself out of it. His compulsion seemed to be broken like the rest of him. He landed in the Rios Center for Health and Healing, which he reasoned was slightly better than prison. When Jeremy met Marcus, he felt instinctual fear. When Marcus met Jeremy, he felt intrigued for the first time in two decades. When they met Trixie, a strange girl with a detached sense of reality, they both felt the same thing: dangerously protective.

"What happens when a girl haunted by a shattered past finds herself in a family that doesn't know how to mend what has been broken? Seven brothers. One hidden truth. And a secret that refuses to remain buried." Alia was only fifteen when her world fell apart, once again. Years after enduring a trauma no child should ever have to face, she is thrust into an unfamiliar life, far from everything she once knew. Her mother has remarried, found happiness, and embraced a new beginning. But for Alia, healing is not as simple as turning a page. Now living in a grand house with seven stepbrothers who are little more than strangers, Alia carries scars that cannot be seen and memories she cannot bring herself to share. Beneath her quiet exterior lies a pain far too heavy for someone her age , a past she has spent years trying to outrun. They call her family. They tell her she is safe. But Alia has learned that safety can be fragile, and trust is not easily given by those who have been hurt before. As buried secrets begin to resurface and old wounds threaten to reopen, Alia finds herself standing at a crossroads between fear and hope, silence and truth. Will this newfound family become the refuge she never believed she deserved, or will the shadows of her past follow her into the only place she has left to call home? When silence speaks louder than words, can love be enough to heal what was once broken? Hare Krishna ✨
