Derek and Maya Hale soon find themselves helping out the newly bitten werewolf, while also looking for the alpha. Meanwhile they try to get through high school with some normalcy, Scott gets infatuated with Allison Argent, who has a younger sister Alyssa. The girls quickly find themselves best friends with the Martin twins, Lydia and Cheyenne, and their older brother Anthony.
