After death, souls of the departed either ascend to Heaven, or descend to Hell with the help of a death angel. But what if one day, they were unable to because they lack peace even after death?

As a kid, Kazu Shinozaki has the ability to see ghosts, but one day, he stopped seeing them. Now a college student, this ability of his has been reopened after encountering a mysterious building, discovering that it was a hotel for ghosts.

Because of this ability, the hotel hired him, hoping to help the ghosts resolve their problems so that they could finally be at peace and ascend to heaven or descend to hell.

But in this job of his, it's not only helping ghosts. He must also face these beings known as "Yokai", the evil ones, to keep peace and balance in the life cycle of this world.
