Ashish Bajaj and Rathik Kapoor are completely normal, average citizens who happen to be best friends in Cochin, India. But when a Nephilim meets them in the middle of the night to murder them -- both of their entire lives change entirely. *** "Ashish," Rathik started to say, reaching in his back pocket for a gun. "Get ready to run." Rathik's friend said nothing, for his memory came rushing back to him like a film running through his mind. He remembered now, that a cold hand reached out from the darkness that would drag him to his death. "Rathik, we need to run. Weapons won't kill it. I tried." Ashish whispered, tugging on his best friend's arm. "We need to go, now. Before it tries to get us both." "Okay, I just -- ah!" He fell to the floor, being forcefully pulled away. His terrified eyes glanced all around him as he desperately tried to grab for the couch and chair legs, the bedpost as his friend did, but nothing helped. "Rathik!" Ashish yelled, his flailing arms chasing his friend to free him from the monster's hands. "Rathik, take my hand!" "Ashish, I can't! Please, help me!" Rathik called back. Tears were overwhelming his eyes as he was still trying to save himself. And suddenly, like a lightswitch being flicked on, Ashish felt something turn on inside him. Something like a mix between anger and glee and puzzlement came to life. A powerful rush flowed through his body and he instinctively held out his hand to face the monster who had shown himself like before. A bright and clear reddish-orange orb twice as large as his hand formed in his palm and it shot itself towards the creature. Once the orb and monster made contact, it imploded and left ashes fluttering to the floorboards. Ashish felt the power surge shrink and he collapsed to the floor, out cold.

This story is about a relationships between a father and daughter. A wife and husband. And 2 best friend. "G-g-go" I stuttered moving back a little from his intense gaze on my whole body. I suddenly felt insecure and nervous seeing his fixed eyes on me. He looked scary. Not hearing an answer from him I started, "I-I'll s-sleep on the couch." There was no way I was going to share the same room as him after what he just did. I released a breath which I held in for god knows how long. Making a move to stand up from the bed, I was walking towards the couch only to jerk back on the bed from his strong pull. His hands were gripping on my wrists making me wince in pain. I tried to get out of his hold but couldn't, he was way too strong for me. Leaning closer to me I tried to move back only to fall on the bed. Seeing my state he took advantage of me by hovering over me, locking my small frame between his hands. An evil smirk played on his lips making me stiffen in fear. His eyes travelled down my body, intentionally I flinched. "Today's our wedding night Jaanvi." Came his husky voice before he nuzzled his face in my neck again. "I'm your husband." He bit my neck making a gasp escape from my mouth in pain. "K-k-kiaan. P-ple--" I begged hold in my tears only to reactive another bit from him. His hold on both my wrist was tight, there was no way I could run. The little respect I had for him died right there. "I'm your prince charming Jaanvi. Don't push this prince away." My eyes widened with tears running from the side of my eyes. My hands which were trying to get out of his hold were numb now. My mouth was opened in shock, his words freaked me out. How will two different souls become one? Follow the journey of two funny, crazy, loving and idiot souls, Jaanvi and Kiaan. From hating each other to falling in love deeply. But did they ever hate each other or was it just anger? { Warning- this book is emotional and funny at the same time!} MY FOURTH BOOK!
