Eren had always been weak as a child; he was sickly and needed a lot of medical attention. He had suffered greatly since a young age, but he kept his spirits high in hope for a brighter future. Because...he still believed.
Only now, at the age of 20, did he finally see his will come crashing down...because, he found out that he had a grave illness- cancer.

He only had a few more months to live.

He gave up.

But, on a single cold night and under the bright street lamps of a deserted bridge, he bumped into a man with piercing steel eyes and hair darker than night. He found out that the man's name was Levi. He found out that the man was a couple of years older. And... he found out the man was a thug. Little did he know, though, that the man he met would show him what it meant to be alive.

Levi filled his teal eyes with hope again.
