Jessamine Lince is a Silverwing, a winged unicorn,
who has lived the first eight years of her life happily with her herd. One day, Death Eaters kill her family, seeking the horns of these magnificent creatures, and in an attempt to save her life, Jessamine's mother turns her into a human.
Jessamine goes to Hogwarts at the age of eleven, having to hide her true self and being aware that some people would kill her if they got the chance.
Follow her throughout her seven years at Hogwarts in Slytherin, and see how she is part of the story, as she starts to accept the human part in her.

Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand?
