Poem inspired by Vincent van Gogh's painting "The Starry Night".
I felt inspired by this painting and so I wrote a poem where this artwork is a magical place with a brighter moon and every night being so special and magical that you'd like to stay forever.

After becoming truly omnipotent he lost what was supposed to be his everything. His chosen. His beloved. Call it what you will, he lost a part of his soul. The only person who would tame the cruel beast that he was. Centuries have passed and the gods have shown him favour. He finds her. Or rather, she finds him but what will it take to keep her? *** It all changed when I met him. But it hadn't really changed. The world was still the same : the same trees: the same people. Forget what you know about the fairytales of werewolves. There's no such thing as a moon goddess, there's no such thing as mates. Wolves are animals cruel, mean, and ferocious. The law can't touch them. The world leaves them alone. They govern their own. That's what I was thought and so far all has been true. What I didn't know was that my little town had a tradition. The harvest was established to create peace between species, every year a girl is offered to the Alpha. I've gone, and luckily never been selected. My future is bright and my thirst for knowledge wins without doubt. Only, I was gifted to the Alpha, a piece offering given to leave the town alone. Presented to him a slave, gifted to an animal. My mother cried, my sister chastised, while I lied. My future is gone but my family is safe. That's all that matters for today, but tomorrow is another story. The Valentine (Jack Frost love story)
I woke to my limbs sore and my head hurting. I didn't open my eyes but chose to feel around me instead. I could feel leaves and grass underneath me along with the wind sliding along my skin. I could hear bugs and animals around me, along with the trees swaying. I could smell the fresh air around me. Then i opened my eyes to see the moon above my head through the trees. It shined so bright, and it made its own light in the sky.Complete
