There is the exaggerated thump of feet on the sand as if the owner of said feet had crashed harder than he intended. I hear the rasp of a sword drawn from an inventory and the clash of diamond sword on diamond sword, as well as Doc swearing. It's the one person I was both hoping to see and trying to avoid at all costs. My twin brother... Xisuma Void. Welcome to that EX fanfiction that is coming straight at you from my strange brain. I got inspired by reading a ton of other books about EX. EX in this fanfic is a born female and straight. Just to make it clear. If there's anything else I need to explain, then hit me in the comments or hermittpad discord. Don't do it literally though, I'm begging you. TWs: Blood, gore, bad depression, and strong angst. If these need to be updated, let me know. I'm not good at identifying triggers. Scar's stressed about the Turf War, and Grian even more so. An unlikely admiration blossoms when the two leaders realise how similar they really are. The Turf War keeps them separate, but their love for each other brings them together. This is only a first draft (and my first fanfiction) so I will possibly be working things out to edit this story to its full potential. That is until he meets a unique brunette named Scar. Scars perspective on school is completely different. He sees new opportunities and beginning rather than chaos and stress. But Scars love for love is not exactly met, all his friends are in relationships except him and it's get lonely. However It feels like that might change with the blonde he met named Grian. Grian works alone. And his fellow "hermits" know that. Once he messed up one of labs that put some experiments on living creatures, but he didn't expect to get a clingy hybrid companion after that. The Hermits are back for Season 8 and some of them have been playing in a death game called 3rdLife. But the ending was a lot harder to cope with for one of them. Can Grian cope with the guilt slowly overtaking him? Will he be able to ever look Scar in the eyes again? Meanwhile, Scar seems his happy self. That slowly changes when his beloved pesky bird seems to avoid him. Aka, Grian doesn't want to make the same mistakes, but does. And Scar tries to figure out why things have changed. And somehow, they always end up back in the desert.

Scar is quite new to the highschool, but on the other hand, Grian has been going to the forsaken school for what feels like eternity. Scar finds himself being taken in with the 'popular crowd' quite quickly, whilst Grian accepts his fate amongst the so called 'commoners' and hiding among one another to get through the day. When Grian catches sight of Scar, everything changes.. As for Scar?.. You just have to see :) Will the friends groups accept eachother? Fights breaking out? Friendships ruined and chances destroyed? Or love blooming like the lilacs and poppies in Spring?
