When the president’s daughter is sick of being home schooled and wants to go away to college Hadley Bates finds a small town called Black Lake in the state of Washington. It’s a small town and seems to be a great place. Hadley doesn’t want to live on campus so she finds herself living with a bunch of dark Goth kids. Who she finds are Grate Company. Hadley soon learns the Black Lake is mostly populated by vampires as it is such a rainy and cloudy town. When vampire bane takes an interest in her, her house mates Daniel, Milo and Andie find out they need to find a way to protect her from bane…but dose she really want protection. Things take a turn for the worst when her father the president of the United States Of America comes to town wanting her to go home…back to DC.
