A shy boy who has always hidden behind the back of his best friend, Ruby Rose. But one day he vanished. The news went out that he and his parents were murdered, this left his best friend heartbroken, heartbroken that she would never see her first love again. Until 4 years later at Beacon Academy, she and her team were given the mission to investigate a White Fang base where it was believed to have been experimenting on innocent civilians.
How will the young rose react when she finds out that her best friend and first love was once one of the victims and is completely different from the one that she grew up with.
