The community of Knyymce is a controlled world.The life of the people who live there is the only life they've ever known. Everyone there is controlled and their own thoughts and feelings do not exist. What exists is only what the Controllers tell them to do and that's how it's been. When you go against the direction of the Controllers you go to the Facility. The people in the community have been told that the Facility is a place of refuge where the ones who have not filled the Controllers will learn how to. But the people who have been there would say different. When Finnigan is given the job as a Facilitator he finds out what actually happens at the Facility. But when he figures out what happens in the Facility he wants to tell anyone, and everyone.
